1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

My entire registration was lost. Wasn't even on the list of users. Just registered again to make things simple.

had 1000+...now it looks like I'm not wasting as much time posting on forums.

*maybe i'll do a josepidal run and get it back to 1000 within a couple weeks.

I lost about 40% of my 1K posts, but my senior status somehow remains.

    I lost a bunch.

I am just going to wait for josepidal to find the new site and then reply to each and every one of his posts. I should be a senior member in around two weeks.

Ouch, speaking about post losses, how about going back from 40 some posts to naught and having to register again ? [IMG]

I registered in early November, I think.
It's good to be back. AAAC somehow felt strange

    Cheers !

    Tibo.

That's what happened to me, although from more than 40. I like to think of it as a clean slate.

Perhaps, like 'gamers, we could employ some sweatshop in China to volume-post for us and bring our numbers back up. Whadya say?

    Now that's positive thinking ...

I'm not that sad either, I'm not sure there were some invaluable pieces of information in the posts lost in the digital abyss.

Lost about 600 as well. I was a handful from 1,000 when it crashed. Not that it really matters though.
It feels a little awkward posting here after over a month of blackout. And the interface changed a bit too.

I am glad to read that I am not the only one for whom it feels a bit strange to be back. I really hope we can get most of the old vibe back!

Uff, I lost about 85% of my count. I'm down under 100 now. And the avatar is gone. But that can be fixed easily enough...done. Now to get to posting again.

    Nice to be back.

While my loss is not Wangian in scope, I lost more than 500, more than 80 percent of my total. It's going to take a lot of irrelevant sniping and half-baked bon mots to get those back.

Now that's an adjective we need to use more often,

    i.e.

TRADE DEFICIT NOT "WANGIAN," INSISTS BUSH

I lost somewhere in the neighborhood of 400. Back to clawing my way slowly to Senior Member status.

The forum also indicates that my last visit was on January 1, 1970. Al Gore was wrong - apparently we invented the internet!
