I just come back from London and I have seen a lot of people wearing ardilla or Edwardian shoe patinas with their conservative navy blue suit...
Do you find that aesthetically pleasing ? Will you wear such shoe colour with navy blue suits and if not , what kind of suit colour would you wear with such patinas?
I can't make my mind up with such shoe patinas...

Do you mean light brown, as in EG's "Edwardian"? Personally I don't like the look and would not wear it. Dark Brown is as far as I'd go, and even then, not in a professional environment.

I have the Asquith in Edwardian:

I wear them but not with Navy business suits and I am a "hate black" kinda guy. I prefer chestnut or buaxite with Navy:

I agree with the chestnut recommendation. It adds a richness to the overall look and balance. If your shoes are too light, the draw a little too much attention.

If you are well dressed anywhere in America, you will draw attention. The minute you leave the house looking look, you start drawing attention to yourself. I'm sorry, but it goes with territory.
I would wear all of the posted shoes with navy suits.

The lighter brown the less boring IMO

Is Boxite really a good look with a Navy suit? I ask because I passed up a pair today. Did I make a mistake?

I think a darker shade of brown works better, but I don't mind the tan-and-navy combination. It is a little flashier, though.

That's what I was worried about. I'm a simple, conservative guy and worry more than maybe I should about that; but, it seems to keep me out of trouble. Thanks for the help.

Is it the kind of look we appreciate on somebody else?
I prefer darker browns associated with darker suits..
I was wearing yesterday my burgundy shoes with my navy suit and all my English colleagues , and they're not chavs, asked me numerous times why i was wearing red shoes..
Fnb , that is the real England for you...
