I've actually owned that shoe in suede and it did better with an odd coat and trousers. You may be able to pull it off with a more casual suit, like tweed.

Those are Marteganis, right? If you're getting them off eBay, I think the same seller has those shoes on the B&S forums for (probably) a lower price forgoing eBay fees ($220, IIRC).
