Would you wear novelty cufflinks?

Lately I've seen a lot more novelty cufflinks around and they seem to becoming more common. I was interested in running a poll to find out how many of you would (or do) wear novelty cufflinks?

Yes

I have a pair of superman symbol ones I wear when I'm feeling super-whimsical.

Can't say I've seen superman cufflinks before... which begs the question... do they have Batman ones too?? I've heard of Pink Panther cufflinks also.

So do you only wear your Superman cuffs on special occasions or are they a talking point at work?

Are these classed as novelty? If so, yes I do occasionally.

I have one pair of Gio Ponti arrow cufflinks I wear from time to time. One wrist has the arrowhead, and the other the fletching.

I have a pair of sterling martini glasses with a gold swizzle and a green (Jade?) olive. I wear it from time-to-time. Also on a whim I bought a pair made from old postage stamps, but I've never worn them.

These got my wife and kids thinking I liked novelty cufflinks, so they've subsequently bought me several more pairs as gifts. I thank them effusively, but I don't think I've ever actually worn most of them.

I actually have lots of pairs of novelty links, but I don't really wear them much. I should post pics of all of them. I probably have 10-12 pairs.

I only would if the crazy thing had some significance to me. Like, I'd wear Raiders ones because I am a die hard Oakland Raiders fan. I wouldn't really have much interest in, for example, the bee ones. They look cool, but they don't really relate to me.

I have about a dozen pairs from my twenties - some silver ones that are pigs, dogs and penguins, little cigars, little sticks of dynamite, and a few others. I don't wear any of them any more.

I think that's probably the key. You'd wear them if they suited a specfic occasion or they were relative to you. I've seen a pair of horse & jockey cuffs which I'd wear to the races but nowhere else.
