Would you wear a Segway polo shirt?

Segway was once thought to be a transformative product, but it became a disappointment after it was revealed to be an overpriced people mover for those to lazy/fat to walk. However, it has had some success as a niche sport: Segway polo. Segway polo uses most of the same rules as traditional polo but substitutes the Segway for the polo pony.

Ralph Lauren built his brand on the iconic polo player logo. Its brand means classic Eastern luxury. However, traditonal polo is so last millenia.

Imagine a startup coming up with a logo that captured the image of a Segway polo player in action, identical to Ralph Lauren's logo. Its brand could be put forward as a modern apparel company who represents the 21st century high-end, fashion-conscious customer.

So, would you buy from a firm whose brand was represented by a Segway polo player.

N.B., this is not to be taken too seriously.

Why not a line of Elephant Polo shirts? A much more majestic sight thundering down the field then some wheezing fat 40 something in a helmet!
