If you want to see men in fur coats head to downtown Detroit tonight for the Auto Show Charity Preview. Hats and full-length fur galore. Maybe eve fur hats.

I wouldn't. They just don't seem "on" for a gentleman. Maybe if I were going to a 1920s party!

I have no ethical qualms about fur, however, assuming it is from farmed or abundant animals. Sexy women look great in fur coats. I seem to recall that furs were a major fetish of von Sacher-Masoch. Wasn't his classic entitled "Venus in Furs"?

I don't like the idea of killing the animal for his fur. But I'd love to wear one in theory. Just like Broadway Joe Namath. If you are wearing a fur coat it must be done in as **** YOU of a manner as possible. Long, white. With big sunglasses and a bottle of boze in your hand.

I love fur and only like to wear natural fibers. However a fur coat maybe too feminine but a fur lined coat is pretty much perfect.

I just spent more than a month straight with night time temperatures around or below -40 (only two days when it warmed up a little, which means it got to -20). Depending on the style and look I would wear one in a heartbeat. Function over form I say, and as was stated, nothing beats fur for warmth.

I'm not opposed to fur, but would likely only wear a fur-lined coat.

it depends, my father is about 5'10 200 lbs, he has a black overcoat with fur lapels. He can do it, however I'm 5'11, 150lbs, I would look ridiculous. If you do, DON"T go all fur, just a little bit.
