Would you date a girl who was incredibly unfashionable?

Tbo I don't see how I could, I think it's usually more on the matter of resources then lack of interest in fashion but honestly no one wants to date someone who doesn't care on how they look.

There is more to a good girlfriend than fashion. What is the point in dating a girl who is fashionable but she is ugly on the outside and a b!tch on the inside.

Would you date a girl who is nice, takes care of you and your family, treats you like a king, is smoking hot (without clothes) but isn't very fashionable?

If you wouldn't I think you need to rethink your priorities lol

Don't take projects. Waste of everyone's time.

That's entirely the wrong way to approach it. See what I wrote above.

I'd love to say yes, but honestly no. I try to take an interest in the way I appear to others so it's a value of mine, and how can I be with someone who has a completely different value than me? It might seem superficial but there are also enough out there that do. My X was interested in fashion and style and I found her even more attractive because of it. She didn't actually seem to own much but she hunted for stuff she loved and was willing to Kop when she thought it was worth it and then used it for all it was worth. That being said half the fun of undressing a girl is figuring the damn clothing out lol.

Just because a girl doesnt wear nice clothes doesnt mean she's ugly though.

Of course not, but there will be disagreement upon purchases that will become annoying after a while.

"Why do you need to buy $500 shoes?"

"Do you know you have more shoes than I do?"

"What is so special about that sweater that it cost $400?"

Sometimes if they have a style I don't like its just as bad, as having no style, but besides that i can't stand girls who wear sweatpants in public.

The biggest issue to be honest is hygiene and make up, to much makeup, bad breath, spitting etc. are deal breakers.

Yes, but I suspect it would bother the OP, so rather than being a hobby that they both might enjoy, it will turn into an issue if it doesn't go that way. All depends, if she is massively unfashionable, would you feel comfortable going places with her, etc? Or will it always be an issue?

I can't really hate on that considering that I wear sweatpants in public.

spitting? and pretty sure bad breath is something you can assess when meeting them (eg, they smell like shit, don't ask for their number). presto.

on topic, I've done it--remember the girl walking to my car on our second date and thinking "fine wale corduroy pants?" mostly, a jeans type of girl on the whole though, but def kinda fashion/style-oblivious. ridiculous body though, was kind of a shame.

kinda feel like personal style is starting to get into "don't date somebody with the expectation/hope of changing them" territory though. only a bit of a grey area though because I know personal style evolves over time--5 years ago wasn't into any of the shit I am now.

I don't know when and why but it seems to have become more acceptable for girls to spit, I have always found it disgusting when guys do it, but when girls do it :shivers:

By bad breath I mostly mean smokers breath.

My girlfriend doesn't care much about clothes and sometimes I wish she'd wear cool dresses more often or she owned shoes that weren't ugly sneakers, but mostly I don't care and we have other stuff in common. She thinks it's neat that I'm into fashion and tries to convince me to wear dresses and stuff lol

I met a girl not too long ago that wasn´t very fashionable. I mean, she could put anything decent enough, go to the club and look nice (because she was hot), but in general she didn´t have a very nice style to me. I was just friends with this girl, but when we hang out, she did make fun of some of my clothes. SO when I come to think of it, if I dated a girl like that, it would make it difficult to have a such a difference of opinions on something that one of us really likes. But, if the girl was not fashionable but didn´t mind me owning thousands of dollars in clothing, then that´d be alright. And maybe (maybe), watching me look so fly [IMG] would make her want to up her own style.

but also think about it from the other side. Would girl who doesnt have a deep interest in being fashionable, go with a guy who who has an extreme interest in it?
