The sole of my boot is starting to fall apart. I was wondering if I should send them back?

Looks like you hit something hard with that part of the heel. Shoes aren't impervious, if you know you did this, then you shouldn't be complaining.

Otherwise, if the shoe is new, you did nothing wrong, and this is happening, I would perhaps care if it was on the lateral side, probably wouldn't care if it's on the medial side (inside)

I have had them for less than a month. It is on the outside of the sole. I don't know how it happened, it is only one shoe, it is on the medial side of the shoe. I don't wear them more than twice a week, and I don't know how it happened. I am just concerned it will mess with my step, and cause me to repair them prematurely since they are pretty much new.

^Lol that is not quite what I meant. My feet are overpronated, and I tend to roll my ankles. I wear insoles and walking is my primary source of transportation so, I need shoes that are durable, comfortable, and stable. Thanks for the replies I have e-mailed the manufacturer and will hold off on wearing them until they reply.

Manufacturer said return to stockist. Stockist has no more in stock so can't exchange. Just curious how much it would cost to replace heel and would I have to replace both?
