I need a SF ruling here. I have had these shoes for a long time and rarely wear them. They are Ferragamos and are in great shape. Are these "square toed?"

    Blobby AND square toed, IMO.

They are blobby but not square toed. If you can afford to toss them, do so.
If not, they are now officially beater shoes. Wear with denim or cords.
As a reference, these are square toed shoes:

I would not consider these to be square toed shoes, but they are borderline. I can understand why you would rarely wear them. Just donate them to soles4souls and get them out of your rotation altogether.

Borderline square toed, I suspect not quite square enough to make that definition though. Chuck em or wear them as beater shoes with demin or cords as per Man of Lint's suggestion.

Thanks. They are now in the "donate" pile. As part of my No Purchase Club activities for the month, I have been purging. I have a hard time getting rid of things, though.

wow, I've never seen KC shoes from that angle before. They're even more hideous if that's possible.

keep one shoe by your nightstand in case you have a break in and need it to bludgeon the intruder!!

My vote, pitch (donate). Don't let the Ferragamo name influence you.
