I would. Not that one though. i think that the integrated bracelet is for more special occasion watches, but not necessarily more formal.

I'm messy and break things, ergo this would be a recipe for disaster for me..I'd end up spending weeks scouring ebay for, like, a replacement tiny whatever pinny thing for the band. This of course will turn out to be extremely rare and therefore cost three times my annual income, which I would either refuse to pay on general principle and subsequently retire the watch, or pay, be eternally scared of breaking it again, and subsequently retire the watch.

Integrated metal bracelet, sure. Leather/rubber integrated bracelet never. Audemars Piguet's ROO non-metal bracelets are an example of particularly bad functionality IMO.

They look great but I hate the idea of paying $10k in 20 years to replace the rubber strap just because I can't get it anywhere else.

I have an IWC GST Chrono (my first quality automatic watch) that has an integrated band (the leaning watch below) and I love the bracelet. The Sinn 142 it is leaning on also has an integrated bracelet available, which I never bought, but a friend just got that watch on the bracelet, and I like it a lot. I may start searching ebay.

My daily wear for several years. Looks great with anything from jeans to a suit and tie and on my wrist now during a one-month project here in Beijing.

I have this and although it's somewhat annoying not being able to swap out the bracelet for just about anything, the bracelet design helps the watch look better on a smaller wrist.
