**** the Chinese. I try as hard as I can (and as much as I can afford) to buy as little as possible from that hell hole.

+1 x infinity. If we all tried this just a little we wouldn't be dying a slow death in our cheaply-made, bottom-line-price, uninformed consumer-made Chinese debt-laden drowning pool! (Yes, I do believe that sentence was also constructed in China... :stirpot:)

At the moment, no.
Electronics made in China have a tendency to explode....

No. I hate China and China-men.

I don't care if they stole Japan's superior tech and will outdo them, It's an emotional thing, so it's irrational.

Depends on how good it is ... I have had 3 Skodas in the last 8 years so I am not against manufacturers based in "non developed" world

That's reasonable, from your third world country you're doing very well with a second world country car.

I can't buy chinese car ! as i live in India and if i order it from china, then i need to pay huge amount of shipping cost to deliver car in India.

You'd probably be much better off buying yourself a Jaguar or Land Rover or Range Rover.

As of right now, no. I've recently started warming up to Korean cars, but I still don't see myself buying one anytime soon.

How can 1/6 of the world's population NOT produce a good car? It should happen eventually, but what's the current problem that China is facing? I think that's the real question in this thread. There are some good arguments being made in this thread (as well as some bad ones)... I personally don't have an opinion, but that's mainly because I'm not educated enough in Chinese culture/news to give an opinion.

BTW, that crash test video is horrific.
