Would James Bond Wear a Dinner Jacket with Vents?

My DB (Polo; 6x2) dinner jacket has side vents. My peak-lapeled SB DJ (Isaia) has no vents. I'm happy with both arrangements. Because the DB is always buttoned, it's more convenient and comfortable to have the vents. But, because I often don't button the SB DJ (which I usually wear with a vest), I don't miss having the vents.

I don't call sweaters "jumpers" either. Although I do wear "braces" rather than "suspenders," the latter term being reserved for the metal-clip variety, worn appropriately only by Orkians.]
