Hello everybody, this is my first post around here, nice to meet you all. Today i recieved a pair of Loake Ashby shoes from the 1880 series, the point is that i find them top quality and every detail seems to be perfect but i notice the sole on mine is full rubber on the heel while on the pics of them found on the net the heel has just got a tiny piece of rubber instead. I took them online from an oficial distributor of the brand but the shoe was marked as "second, exhibition or spare pair" shoe, i expected them to have some marks but they´re just perfect, like new. What grinds my mind is if i could have taken a fake pair or if it was built not under the same quality spec that it shoud. The price was exceptionally good also. The point is, i´ve never heard of fake shoes, not this quality at least, but i´m worried, i´ll post pictures of them as soon as i get home...

They were probably marked as seconds because the wrong top lift was put on.

Don't worry about it - as the user above said they were likely marked as seconds and as such sold to you at a reduced price. The chance of them being fake is really small, you can get deals on seconds that are so good they make you question their validity
