Hey there, I'm going to be in NYC this summer---interning somewhere in recording or entertainment I hope-- will know exactly where in the next few weeks. My sister is going to live in the city with me this summer and is sttarting to look for a part time retail position. We are young, turning 21 in April, but she has worked at a local designer womens boutique before and has a good base experience. I'm trying to be a good brother and help my twin sister in her search. What are the possibilities of boutiques needing part time help in NYC during the summer months? She doesn't need to work at Valentino or anything

Something with a little edge or fun is great for her interests. Do you guys have any advice I can relay to her? Good money isn't a big of a deal as long as she keeps herself busy. Thanks for your advice everyone. Pete

There are two boutiques that my wife always stops in in Murray Hill on or near 33rd and 3rd. One is Akiko and I forget the other name, it begins with an "S" and is on 32nd and 3rd. Both are excellent and, last week, had "help wanted" signs in the window. Worth a shot when you get there.

Thanks GQ lawyer,
I'm glad you're back. It's funny because I'm taking my LSAT in June at NYU w/ hopes to be an IP/entertainment attorney, especially in the music business. I'll write those down and make sure to try to help her. I like the search actually. Thanks for your help.
