Don't believe I've seen that episode. The problem, besides the over-writing, is that the context for the characters is completely wrong. Because of their generally crude and foul demeanor, they need to interact with 'normal' people, especially in their work environment - and most of the characters they work with are written in the same way (weird/crazy, etc). The reason that kind of humor typically works, or the scenario in which it works best, is other 'normal' characters reacting to it, i.e. Kenny Powers teaching at a school, or the cast of It's Always Sunny interacting with people outside of their group. The writing is just too over the top and outrageous, which causes most of the jokes to fall flat because their obscenity is stale almost instantly from overuse.

The reason i like this show so much is partly because theres nothing else worth watching and the show dosn't take it self seriously in the least, just good ol' fun.

Ditto.

This show is getting me through these months without It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Watched the first two episodes. Does it get better or worse from there?
