At least now you won't get shot while you're out hunting....

I didn't see Gary's Woolrich buy, though his Engineered Garments picks were excellent, and Mauro did a very good Woolrich buy, though I think that his Shipley picks were just as strong, if not stronger. Apparently, Nice Collective was really good, though I did not see that. I was busy shlepping around the city doing legwork so that you guys can see some of the best stores in NYC from the comfort of your interwebz. Both Context and Mauro (Farinelli's) were looking at some great Hejfina was racking some very nice Band of Outsiders. Other things to look out for are some of the most well crafted henleys, sweatshirts, and belts, in addition to denim, from Kicking Mule Workshop, remarkable waxed cotton outerwear from Krane (well worth the money, for your quality freaks - the stuff is intricately crafted and the hardware is all Riri). For those who love quality leather goods and Americana style shoes and accessories, I have one word for you: Yuketen.

These are pretty much a repro of old Woolrich hunting pants. Looks like they're doing them in a few colors.

I'd totally take the under-jacket, shirt and tie from this one. I like the coat except the pocket-bags or whatever aren't doing it for me.

The photos robin posted are pretty shitacular. Fok and I saw the collection today and it looks leaps and bounds better than what you see here, not even including the stuff that you're not seeing on here.

It's sad but this "sneak preview" does nothing but make the upcoming season look like crap when it's really not that way at all.

The pics that have been posted about in this thread are pretty damn ******. I just got home from Mauro's girlfriends place with Albert and the pics they showed me today from Woolrich were great. Off the top of my head I recall I recall a reappearance of the Maine guide jacket in olive, Upland in a red check, and some other cool stuff that will probably lead me to bankruptcy. Mauro is really going to be killing it this year with FW 09 buys.

Mac in SF is also going to be carrying Needles. I had a convo with the buyer and he said the details are gonna be insane, but the sizing may be kinda off.

Needles is a pretty cool brand. I think I was personally more impressed with a similar brand called "Post Overalls" that was showing in the same room.

Preaching to the choir. Apparently they do pretty well in Europe, too, or at least that's what their UK rep said.

Yeah, Post O'alls could blend nicely with other brands Mauro already carries.
