Where could I have one made along Saville Row? I know the tailors have different cutting style and 1000s of fabrics. I'm quite a slim build so would need a slim silhouette.

I don't understand the question.

Where can you have a slim cut suit made on Savile Row? The answer is any of the tailoring houses.

If you mean with a wool and silk platinum pinstripe then ask whichever house you visit if they stock this fabric. If not then you should be able to source it yourself and give it to the tailor to use.

Yes most houses have different cuts. Some are soft (Anderson and Sheppard), some are more structured (Dege & Skinner, Poole), some don't have a defined house style and can be accommodating.

Read the forum, do your research and go and speak to some of the different houses on the Row to see who can accommodate your request the best.

For a silk platinum pinstripe suit, I think you need not go as far as Savile Row - there are three or four good tailors in Detroit who could probably help you out. They have some interesting house styles too.

A "slim fit" only applies off the rack, as it is for slim people who want a suit that fits them. Going to Savile Row, any tailor will make a suit that fits you. They won't make a suit that fits a bigger man if you are slim.

You know the cloth you want. Now find a tailor you like (based on house style and or someone who can make a slim-fit suit).

If the tailoring firm does not stock that specific cloth, it can be ordered for you and in the worse case scenario you can purchase the cloth yourself.

Go to Norton & Sons. They have a very good ethos and will very readily accommodate fashion-forward and slim cuts. All of their fabrics are woven in the UK, and they certainly have fabrics that fit your description.
I plan to have my first Savile Row suit made by these guys, because my research has led me to believe they are most suited to my wants.

Several people above have said 'every tailor on the Row will make a suit that fits you', and I don't really agree. If you have modern or peculiar demands you'll need to do a lot of persuading to get some stubborn tailors on the Row to make you a suit that suits your personal taste.

Throw some pictures in the thread of things you like and we can suggest something. If you really want something nice, I hear Despos in Chicago makes an amazing suit (He's a regular poster on these boards, so I'd send him a PM if I was serious about it).
