Suppose someone is allergic to wool. Rather that wear suits made of synthetic fibers (ie. polyester, rayon), would it be inappropriate for that person to simply wear suits made of of cotton all year round?

Is it appropriate to wear say a dark chino suit in place of a worsted in most cases and/or seasons?

To clarify, I was being purely hypothetical. I don't have a wool "allergy" per say. I was just curious. I wear wool only when I have to (blazers, suits) but even then I like smooth light weight wool (I don't like wearing tweed, but think it looks great on a number of other guys.) I also prefer cotton for all my sweaters, as it's softer, breathes better, is smoother and less itchy, and I don't need to worry about moths. I apologize for any deception.
