Stopped by the Barbour store on the Upper East Side and picked up their last English-made International Jacket in black. Been looking for one of these in my size for over a year. I think their all made elsewhere now.

Of course, I realize longwings would look stupid with this jacket. Shoe suggestions?

They still have items made in the UK, but the production runs really vary. Oh, and get some boots.

A pair of chelseas or some other boots? Penny loafers? Do you wear casual rubber soled shoes at all?

Anyway, you're almost looking for excuses to break the oneshoe rule now!

Now that you describe it, the longwings don't sound half bad.

It is "they're", dammit. You should't be making these mistakes!

I recommend a black/#8 chukka.

Suede Alden chukkas.

Why'd you buy black though? So limiting...
