Apparently I have today alone bought something using paypal (only 4.99 - THRIFTY!), bought (I assume) a nice phone from Letstalk.com (599.99!), registered two domains - and more!

BASTARDS!

Froze the account but this sucks. Now I wonder what the goddamn site was that leaked my info like this...

Anything with some physical shipment I assume. Supposedly my CC company will alert the credit bureaus, I will call them myself at somepoint to check if anything else is amiss. Edit: Stax, Gamelan, thanks - I went ahead and filed an alert myself, also

I am sorry. Report it to all 3 credit bureaus. I wish you the best. It is sad that things like this happen.

The same thing happened to me a couple years ago except whoever got my debit card number spent over $1300 on ifriends.com within 24 hours. It definitely sucks, luckily my bank replaced all the money in my account within an hour or so and all I had to do was sign a couple papers.

That sucks, ska. Sorry to hear it. Once you get it straightened out, I recommend you break in the new card with a therapeutic pair of new wholecuts.

Stelios,

Your credit card gets jacked and you get rear-ended in the span of a month.

You do something to anger the gods?
