I say we pick up somewhere before the thread Woody Allen as Style Icon begins.

Okay, the title should have been:
Woody Allen Discussion: Politics, Geograhpy & Style Forbidden.

I still enjoy Annie Hall. And Manhattan is quite good.

Those and Hannah and her Sisters are the best ones, IMO.

Sleeper is best because it serves as a guidebook for the here and now.

There was no need for the first thread about Woody Allen's "style" and there sure as hell isn't any reason to have a second.

Zelig, in 1983, was the last time time that little creep directed something watchable.

You are not a "vintage" shopper?

I don't know, I kind of liked that movie about the tennis player who had sex with and then killed Scarlett Johansen. Mostly because he wasn't in it, but also because her breasts were.

Match Point.

I saw lots of Woody Allen when I was in college in the Northeast.
I picked up the term ***.
Little did I realize how much trouble that would be for me when I got back to SC.

Couldn't "What's up Tiger Lilly?" serve as a guidebook for the here and now.

Radio Days and Purple Rose of Cairo were entertaining. Some of his movies don't age well for me.

Lets not forget "Manhattan" although it did foreshadow a dangerous predilection.
