The vamp area is much higher on the boot tree, it will not work for the usual dress shoe.

I have found that those style boot trees do not fit well in my chelseas. The high instep of the tree prevents it from filling out the hinge, where it's needed. YMMV.

I have owned 1 pair of boot trees, they just never seemed to make sense. They did not fit in any shoes I owned, not even boots. perhaps they work well for cowboy boots only?

If you look at the FatCash-eligible stores, it is under "S" as in "Shoemall".
