Woodbury next weekend?

I'm in desperate need of a major refresh to my suit wardrobe and am considering burning a few frequent flyer miles to come up to NY next weekend and drive up to Woodbury to take advantage of the various Labor Day sales going on. My summer has been insane so far this year and it appears that I'm late to game to find decent sales placed like the RL mansion or the Barney's warehouse sale.

Any thoughts from members more familiar with Woodbury than I? Is this a fool's errand? Is it worth coming up to focus on Manhattan instead? Any other suggestions for a late summer shopping jaunt an easy flight from the mid-Atlantic?

I havent been to Woodbury in forever, but no doubt this is the time to go. Wait for Labor Day if you can.

I'm genuinely interested in how prosperous a trip to Woodbury Outlet would be too. Coming from Florida, I have contemplated visiting there while in NY, but didn't know if it would be a waist of my time...

A trip from Florida seems excessive. I can fly from Richmond for 10,000 miles each way almost as fast as I can drive to D.C., so it doesn't seem too ridiculous.

Yes, but say I had other reasons for visiting NY. Would a trip to Woodbury be worth it, while there?

In the end, I'm sure it is just the standard Premium Outlet affair, but with higher end brands...

I recommend you call the stores in advance to see if they have your suit size (TF, Canali, Zegna, etc...).

38R/40R can be hard to find sometimes.
