I would like her to tie me up with her golden lariat and force me to tell the truth.

+1 I'm hoping she doesn't wear underwear and flies overhead in her invisible jet... I met David Kelley once and I think he like a pretty good writer. He also played Ice Hockey in college (Yale?). That is all.

My primary concern is going to be how they will update the outfit. It's just so...costume-y. The Lynda Carter iteration of her looked like a cross between female professional wrestler and a hooker waiting outside Studio 54 in 1977 (not a bad thing, mind you if you are 8 and it's 1984).

Google imaging her reveals some pretty cool cartoon concepts of the outfit but pulling it off in real life is a different matter altogether. I just don't know how well the whole scantily clad Wonder Woman will play on TV, especially if she's supposed to be a powerful CEO by day.

Jodi Lyn O'Keefe would have been a much better choice. Or Bridget Regan.

I love WW's costume. It's classic. Of course I can see why they would want to update it. Honestly, all it needs is some pants.

That is all I need to know. I'll wait until it's on network TV.

I love that the dude who spent time editing my quote about appreciating her classic costume for his sig, commented in the same thread with the grand revelation that he would like some bigger tities.

I don't know why some people get worked up about costume changes, I think they're fun updates, and it will always revert back to the original. I like it, and am interested to see what they do in the movie. I hope they do the same thing that they did with the Caps costume.

I don't mind it if it's done right. Like the temporary Fantastic Four costumes that just got revealed.

What I hate are bad updates like Superman Blue.

I do think they will do some updating of her costume. Mainly in the area of giving her pants and some other minor alterations. I just don't want to see them put her in black leather or other crap like that.

Elizabeth Hurley cast in NBC's 'Wonder Woman'by James Hibberd

Elizabeth-Hurley_240.jpg

Wonder Woman has found her nemesis: Austin Powers star Elizabeth Hurley says she'll co-star in the much buzzed about superhero reboot.

"Thrilled to be doing the NBC pilot Wonder Woman," Hurley posted on her Twitter feed. "I'll be playing the evil villain. Can't wait."

Hurley's character runs a pharmaceutical company (and doesn't that alone tell you she's evil) that is making a drug that makes people stronger. She wants to build an army that will, among other devilish things, take down Wonder Woman, whom she's fiercely jealous of. More details and other castings after the jump...

Sources say Hurley's deal isn't done, it's pending until she gets her visa. Also, the role is considered a guest starring gig. David E. Kelley is reinventing Diana Prince as a modern day hero with former Friday Night Lights star Adrianne Palicki in the title role.
