Has anyone else noticed within the past six months/year the rise in "please dress me so I can fit in among you" threads?

I'm not trying to take down the OP, not exactly anyway, but I don't get how these threads come to be made. Someone wants good shoes? Look up some shoe threads. Jeans? Jeans threads. How someone would take the different tastes and opinions of dozens of internet strangers as gospel and over their own tastes and opinions is just... beyond me.

No offense, OP. Just do a bit of reading around here and go with your gut.

Ya know...I've always wondered about the phenomenon where people, for whatever reason, when they don't agree or take issue with the OP topic/contact, basically unleash the ****** contents of their verbal bowels in the thread. Yeah ok I'm new and not some impetuous, immature, acolyte of some fashion guru, but for the love of all things holy or just cause it's the more mature thing to do....if you don't want to participate in thread...STFU and move on. I don't give a rats ass to here your opinions on whether I should have posted or not. I'd rather only hear from those who think they have something to add. If you don't agree....sod off.

Panties need to be loosened up just a touch, darlin'.

You just want people to tell you what to buy without any given parameters other than a $300 budget??? How the hell is that at all helpful for those whose opinions you supposedly seek? For all we know you're into white sheets, snake skin boots, and appletinis.

But no, fine, continue on with some clusterfuck thread, insult me some more since you've been here for five minutes, and have a nice day.

I think this is a horrible way of spending $300. Things like the Levis and the Sterlingware will probably end up getting replaced with higher-end versions soon enough, not everybody looks good in AA, and some of us have feet that simply won't fit into Chucks.

The only thing I'd buy in that list might be the MJK undies.

Just use the $300 to buy a solid pair of jeans or shoes they you'll continue to wear for years. By cutting corners, you'll only end up wasting money.

Yeah with a $300 budget you pretty much have the whole Japanese denim market except for really expensive stuff. Get some KMW or something.

There's your solution... $300 worth of MJK undies.
