Hi gents and ladies! Forgive my lack of knowledge here or starting a thread that's been posted before. I'm on the hunt for classy and durable shoes with negligant slip. Tired of being forced fed crap shoes in regular retail stores.
Let me know your particular model recommendations with the following criteria:
All advice welcomed!
Let me know your particular model recommendations with the following criteria:
- Slippers or penny loafers that are Goodyear/Veldtschoen welted with a cordovan shell, and ridgeway sole (I hear this sole is a happy medium).
- Waterproof dress ankle boots with same criteria but the sole and material can change. Chromexcel is intriguing.
- Black or Chocolate Brown colors with little to no embellishments aside from a small bow, etc.
- Possible brands: Cheaneys, Alden, Yanko, Carmina, Andres Sendra, Carlos Santos, Rozsnyai, Vass, Meccreilo, Crockett & Jones, Alfred Sargent, Gaziano & Girling, Edward Green, and John Lobb.
- Will size down to men's if need be.
- Amazing customer service! I will cross off any stores or brands with bad service, so please tell me your experiences.
All advice welcomed!
