Talked to someone at papashoe this morning and it sounded like Wolverine was a little less than cordial to them over all this. Rep didn't say whether they'd be canceling pending orders but said that they would not be selling them at $170, no matter the circumstance, to which I replied, "That's a bummer, because you won't be selling them at $320, either."

It's great you can act like an ass to a company that maybe made a mistake in selling something at a discounted price which was clearly in error. I mean your right go ahead tell them what to sell the boots at, its not like its been repeated over and over that the manufacturer is dictating the price, not the store.

Person, I'm aware they're the victim, too. The conversation was pretty personable and I obtained a lot more information on the boots, and Wolverine that I didn't post. It was a very friendly exchange -- settle down.

at first I was really up for a new line of boots, but I don't get the price? it's more than Alden's and they make FINE men's footwear, not workboots...

It's like a chevy being more than mercedes...

I wanted a pair of black boots and thought that the wolverine' would be a the ones, but for what they're asking, I'll go with whites and get the boot hand made to MY foot for basically the same price.

Curious as well, I like the shape a bit better than the 1000 mile.

I have a pair of Indys, they're okay but nothing special, and I don't find them particularly comfortable for walking long distances.
