    I don't own a pair (yet) but as a 8 i felt the 8 in 1k was a bit on the snug side, I would go for a 8.5 or maybe a 9.

    Edit: Listen to Crane's. :embar:

I own 3 pairs of these in 8.5 and my foot is 8.5 D measured. If their foot is a measured 8 then a size 8 boot should be just about perfect for what they want to do. When I wear these in the Winter I wear arctic weight wool socks without them feeling snug. I've covered in great detail on how to properly get the right size boot several times already.

Sizing down boots is the new sizing down jeans.

Are there any good products to restore the edge dressing? There are a few spots on my boots I'd like to try and fix.

I suppose you could get any old edge dressing from a cobbler. I've heard that water based polyurethane stain also works pretty good.

Of course edge dressing is one thing I know jack about. It doesn't last but 15 minutes with me. LOL!

Thanks for the response, I'd love to try to keep the original look of the edge dressing. Maybe I'll see what the local cobbler thinks.

I'm a solid 10.5 D/ 11C. I wear size 10 in the 1K. I'm not one to size down in shoes, but I found (and most others, it seems) that they run a bit large. Now, I wear mine with regular socks - not heavy boot socks. Maybe if you wear a heavier sock, your regular size would work best.

Hey Crane, without really giving anything away can you say if they will have a new chukka or low boot in the fall USA made line? I can wait but I won't wait if they are not going to offer something like that.

Chucks are in the works and so are desert boots. Can't remember if they're Fall or Spring, USA or not. I looked at something like 60 pair of boots and shoes.

This link was posted on Wolverine facebook page just now, which is supposed to be their SS13 collection. I kind of dig the captoe, looks much better than the Rockford
