LOL! I have been asked if I would sell my boots before Lefty. Hell I could be the next famous designer label! ROFLMAO!

They do have the whole patina thing going on for sure.

I'm done listening to your nonsense. Return them for a refund and no we will not order you another pair.

That's why I can never work retail.

You guys are putting way too many expectations on a medium priced work boot.

You were told to return them for a refund but i guess that's not good enough for you. I'm guessing you aren't going to like what W tells you to do but oh well.

I can't return them to you guys. I wore them out for a night, so they aren't new anymore. The left boot has constantly gotten worse the more I have worn it (which has been one night out and just around my house). The creases have consistently gotten worse in that left boot, and the top creases feel significantly thinner now. Again, I understand boots crease. I have worn them all my life. However, this left boot just doesn't seem or feel right.

Wolverine is going to tell you to return them to us. We'll turn them in for "warranty" credit and refund your money but that's as far as it's going to go.

So I will get a full refund even though I wore them out one night?

    Amen.

How is this Crane's fault anyway? Isn't Wolverine the company that makes the shoes?

Danner has a heritage line they call Stumptown which we will be carrying. I personally like how they marketed them. It's right in line with what they are known for. Wolverine should have marketed their heritage line along the same lines instead of soft marketing them.

Crane I am not trying to argue with you because I know you know a hell of a lot more about boots than I do. However, I dont just want my money back. I really like these boots. I just want to make sure my pair is fine.

Here is an image from an owner that posted his boots in this thread. Everyone was telling him that the creasing was excessive, and he should get a new boot from wolverine. Do you agree with that? The creases on my left boot are starting to look that bad. Again, I am bringing this up because I don't simply want my money back. This is the most I have spent on any piece of clothing. I just want to make sire I got a sufficient pair.

If you intend to assert that your creasing is more pronounced than the example above, please post new pictures. If the wrinkling is spreading to other areas, it could be a sizing issue.

Wow, this thread is embarrassing all around. smith899, the creasing is excessive, and indicative of a weak piece of leather. Just return them to Crane's and buy from Nordstrom's or another retailer where you can return hassle-free if you get a bad pair.

Crane's, you should be ashamed for being such an ass to a customer.
