There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Hey Mr Crane. Do you ship to the UK. If so, how much? Also, will would I get hit with the local import taxes? When I order from J Crew, they have some arrangement where all taxes are included in their price. Is this something you guys do?

Yes, around 45 bucks. No we don't pay any taxes that's on you. I have no idea how Crew includes it in this price or what arrangement they have.

Doubtful. 2 coats of LP and hardly worn. Bacteria or fungus is more likely.

    Birthday Bash DOTD

In honor of my birthday (Wednesday) here's a helluva Deal of the Day.

    http://cranesboots.com/store/products/

    Code is:

    BIRTHDAYBASH

You know the rules. No open talk about numbers. Oh and more will get added tomorrow. That is unless I end up getting dragged out for a rompin' good time with much tequila. The deal ends sometime Thursday.

Happy birthday! Tempting stuff, but I'm holding true to my promise (to myself) to stick with one pair of boots for this winter...

Finally got around to sticking a pair of insoles into my 1ks. Obviously much more comfortable only thing I'd do different is try finding a slightly thinner insole but then again I imagine after a while I'm going to smash it thinner anyway.
HBD Crane's. Hell of a DOTD

Would anyone happen to know what Wolverine color Iron Rangers in amber harness are closest to? Eyeing a pair of 1000 miles as my second pair of casual boots, but am afraid they might end up filling the same niche if the one/either of those colors is too similar.

    Dear Crane

    Thanks for your reply.

I agree, I stored them in my closet for a moment of time (not more than 2 weeks). However, only 1 side of 1 boot has this "marks". Is there any way to get rid of them??

A good point well made. I've already bought 5 pairs of boots this year tho. A line has to be drawn!

    Oh it gets worse. LOL!

More has been added to the DOTD!

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. Decisions decisions. Herradura, Don Julio, Cabo Wabo, Patron, Avion, 1800 or the bottle of the really good stuff with a name I can't pronounce? Then there's that 1.75 liter bottle of late harvest Zinfandel from the private cellar of the owner of Post Winery. Perhaps I should behave myself. Yeah, who am I kidding? LOL!

I'm guessing he'll get through the Zin and make a significant dent in the Herradura :slayer:
