The dude who had a pic of the 744's in a green-tone well before they officially ever debuted.
Looking at the women's 1K boots they seem to be outsourcing the fashion element of the designs. The Womens 1K and Evelyn 1K I can see the wife wearing. The SP collection is probably worth boycotting until they use models who weigh more than their boots!

What color shoe cream/polish should I use for tan 1000 mile boots? Brown and black are easy to deal with but I'm scared of just picking a random cream and having it ruin the color.
Use neutral or tan. Or skip it all together.
On this Wolverine pic from his website, which boot is the cap-toe one in the middle?
Not the Cordovan, is it? The Rockford?
That was fast.
I really like the half commando sole on my Beckman, therefore I added commando half sole to my new W1K, as well as to the heel to balance it out.
In my opinion, the commando half sole makes the boots more rugged yet maintaining the refined look, and more practical for Winter.
I like the way they turn out:
BTW, the chromexel leather scuffs easily.
None, the tan Addisons are dyed through and through. Rub the scuffs out with your finger and a little boot oil if necessary.
I have mine half soled with that heel plate and the Raptor half sole. I get good heel bite while the half sole is awesome in snow, mud and slick wet floors.
They look good
They still need to be weather proofed following the method you outlined.
When the weather is nicer, I will try to take better pics.
obernauf'ed my rust 1ks. oddly the toe box is much darker ... must have put more on the toes i guess it will even out ... or can be fixed later.
really really pleased with these. if you are on the fence, go for it. you wont regret it.
Hmmmm, a pair of black Stocktons would work well over the winter. They'll pair well with my elk duster and a Stetson.
