The straight down runs quite large. A 34 would probably fit comfortably.

I guess we'll see if they work out...

Agreed. Oh, Jo Mak, it's a good buy. I don't think you'll regret it, especially at that price. I would buy a pair if I didn't already have those.

To answer my own question, they just emailed me a tracking number. Quick work on their part.

    Update:

I just came form the downtown store [IMG] 34's DON'T FIT!! at all.... drizz you may have issues if you really wear 36. sorry dude. i couldn't get these buttoned up at all. no matter how i sucked and tucked. If your ass is considerably flatter than mine you may squeeze into them. good luck!! They have 34's and 33's left - they may be there a few days cuz the price tags had $198 but a price check proved they were indeed $98. too bad teh site doesnt have 36's - i really liked those jeans.

ALERT!!!! do you wear soze 36 in New Standards?? they have a pair there for $65 (again forget what the tag says - ask them to do a price check).

Vans are $25 - they didnt have my size though.

And seeing the Springcourts in person was love at 1st sight. dem shoes deh BAD!!!!

what else they had? hmph - that's it i think. some steven alan tees and like 1 or 2 rogues gallery polos/long sleeves were left. sales been going on for weeks they say and they said they had tonnes of good shit/sizes - just that i got there too late.

but those APC's fuck man!!!! if only they fitted me!! [IMG]

I really like 5ep jeans too and I havd the same problem: there fit doesn't suit my body type(6'3'' 210lbs. soccer player), they feel wa too tight all over for the waist size. I wish they'd come out with something with a bit more of a comfortable fit, for us non-slim guys.

Really? I don't think the 5EP cuts (especially the straight) are slim at all. Though, at 6'3" there's no way the inseam would work out for you anyway :p

Wow, surprising comments. I bought the 33", and I'm really a 34"+, and they were slightly baggy on me. I have pretty muscular thighs, and I had no problem with the fit, whereas what I really consider slimmer jeans (like the bootcut ola) I literally had to squeeze into. For reference, I'm 5' 10", 180 lbs.

I have the one wash straight downs.

I wear 34 to 36 depending on the jean and the cut. I wear 34s in PDCs and Sevens and 36 in Bootcut OLAs, I was going for the 36s because I thought they were really slim but if they're not it should be OK.

The Straight downs will fit you. You probaly tried on the bootcut. However, as someone else posted, with a standard 32/33 inseam, no way they would fit in the leg anyway.

My 5ep were a size 29 and fit like a relaxed 30. I'm sure they would have stretched out to a 31 with ease if they were tighter on me.

Yeah, I've tried the low boot and vinatge cut(light ones at active endeavors) and both were too tight and fitted for my taste. I was under the impression the straights were tighter than the low boots for some reason. If the straights are a bit looser, anti-fit I may have to have a go on them then, thanks for clearing that up[IMG]

in response to twinn885-get the 33's. as for jomak, why don't you look into a larger cut jean. I went to the store the other day thinking that I wanted a pair of slim style jeans (6'3, 190, 33-34 waist) I couldn't fit into any style the patient salesgirl gave me. she snuk in a pair of meltin pot morgans (check their website for specs) and they fit me like a slim cut would on a smaller guy-if you're a 34-36, you might not even like they way you look in a raw straightleg. I tried on the nudie straight sven's yesterday and they looked good I'm buying a 33. or, go with what everyone else said at the begining and get the apc's..but get the straight leg (aka new rescues)
