I have a question about storing my cashmere for the winter. I bought a bunch of garment bags (plastic, zippered) and some lavender scented mothball packets. Now if I put my sweaters in the bags with the mothballs, won't they all reak of mothballs when I take them out next fall ? if so then I would have to dry clean ALL my cashmere ? what should I do ? maybe no mothballs IN the bags but on the outside to keep the bugs away from them ?

You are better off with muslin zippered bags for your sweaters. The plastic will not let them breathe. If you air out your sweaters the mothball odor should go away.
