Hi guys,
The weather is getting colder and I want to purchase a warm coat/jacket. I am vacillating between two choices, one is a 100% cashmere jacket with a detachable wool gilet, and the other one is a down jacket. I am wondering would a 100% cashmere coat be warmer or a down jacket, assuming they are equally top-quality? I searched the forum and many people believe shearling jackets are the warmest, it is not what I am looking at, but out of curiosity how would the three choices (100% cashmere coat, down jacket, or shearling jacket) rank in terms of warmth?
Thank you very much.
