I have yet to find a beanie that fits my head perfect. They usually are a bit droopy in the back. Anyone have recommendations on a beanie that fits like this picture?

That looks high quality and I like the shape. My only issue from a pure aesthetic standpoint is that it has that little bulk around the outer edge. Im looking for something in more of a skull cap style without being overly tight.

Incidentally, if you hadn't already gathered, my friends think that I am a moron, and take no little delight in telling me so. Everyone shows up for a truck trip in flannels and carhartt and beat up Danner boots, and I walk in in a custom leather and Buzz Rickson repro pants and Viberg boots.

Or the hats. It's like "Um, really man?" Yes, and w/e. Anyway, that is the deal. My friends make fun of me, and these days, I can't even beat them up in the gym (doctor's orders).

So, if you are looking for something both more practical and less insanely priced (I mean, c'mon, it's a $310 toque,) here is another option that I like (and I love this store):

Ibex - flatlock seams so that the hat fits completely flush. It's, imo, one of the best hats in the class: http://www.backcountry.com/ibex-mer...6YmNzQ2F0MTExMTAxNTA&skid=IBX0302-PTHE-ONESIZ

There are a lot of good models like you are looking for that are generally marked "women's". So what, it's a beanie, right? And if some dude doesn't like it, you can hit him with your purse.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
