Winter dressing gown

It's getting cold. I would like a new winter dressing gown. I'm looking for chocolate brown plain velvet, with a cashmere/warm material lining. (I retired my previous one last year -- it had bemberg lining and wasn't warm enough anyway. Stupidly I didn't check who made it, but it must have been some obscure Italian brand.) Any recommendations? MTM/bespoke seems a bit overindulgent for this sort of item, though I might see what my shirtmaker quotes me. Thanks in advance for your help.

P.S. I'm in the UK and travel to Italy fairly frequently.

Anything Picard wears is a win.

Sorry...the yanks are going to continue to persist in this juvenile exercise simply because you used the words "I need" and "dressing gown" in the same sentence.

Unless you are Hugh Hefner and you work in pajamas, when exactly is the appropriate time to wear a dressing gown?

I wear one while having breakfast in my own home.
