winter coat to wear over a suit

llbean is a little roomy so it should fit nicely over a suit.

I just got this coat from LLBean and it is really bulky and hard to move around in (although it is quite warm). I find the hood pretty baggy and not so useful. It only comes in S/M/L and so it may not fit you as well as a sized coat from Gloverall or another maker. I'd stick to a good topcoat and add a scarf and hat as needed.

Does anyone have any ideas on winter down coats, parkas that I can wear on top of a suit?

most down jackets that I find are either too informal (too focused on warmth) or too casual (no warmth at all). The ones that I find satisfying are always too expensive as well.


Any ideas?
