Is the Billy Reid coat warm enough for temperatures below freezing?

you guys are retarded. theclipper that coat fits how it's supposed to fit. the shoulders fit you perfectly - you are just puny for a man of your height. relative boxy fit of the body looks fine imo...the toggles, otoh, are pretty ugs...

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I definitely appreciate it as I'm very new to the world of half-way decent clothes :embar:. As it's been discussed above, I have a very hard time find any substantial outwear that works well with my build. Think it would be worthwhile trying to paint the toggles black or grey or something of that nature?

    Thanks

Never liked the 3sixteen duffle, vintage gloverall if you can find it.

Gloverall still has alot of great coats, e.g., the "original monty". Nitty Gritty has some nice styles.

They are either 80/20 or 90/10. In my opinion, it doesnt matter (that much). I have a 80/20 duffle I got last year and wore extensivly over the winter, and it wore well in terms of fabric quality. I would imagine the 90/10 coats in the heavier boiled wool to be even better. I think the fabric mix more is a matter of intended durability than cutting corners...

Come on man so naive, why did they stop using horn or wood or whatever toggles they used before is that for durability too bobo lol.

Well, my coat has wood toggles and the others I have seen have horn toggles. Not sure what you are talking about. Sorry jet.

I'm talking about the 512 and I've seen 70/30 also. Anyways on with the topic.

I needs me a good winter coat still for nyc in january that isn't armor like and can occasionally use here.

They still making buzz rickson parkas n shit? Not the super crazy knee length one but some thigh length jumpoff with coyote fur hood would be dope.

Tried on some krane stuff from this season. sizing is TTS if you don't want to layer, size up one if you want to layer anything thicker than 1 sweater.

What does it look like? Still deciding on getting another winter coat, barbour explorer from last year still does the job.

Keep in mind it has less fill for california. If you're talking about the br just google it though I doubt I will get it as it's too warm and heavy.
