They look good, it's just a shame the sole is useless in snow.

My Diemme's has a similar sole and they have taken permanent residens in their box until snow clears, as the sole was as useful in the snow, as a pair of speedos[IMG]

Why isn't this a special flower thread

Because it is a very specific type of topic that has relevance to a lot of members, not just myself. It was also suggested by several people that I make a topic for it, so, I did.

    Disturbing.

Seeing how you are an "angry transvestite" maybe the people here should include womens boots in the mix.

    LOL .....

these look like a pretty great beater option... why are they women's only!

edit: nm the upper is canvas, that could be problematic

Those don't look like they would make it down the street in one piece.

Would you intend to tuck your pants into those engineer boots? Seems like it might look a little odd.

Man you guys don't know shit about winter. Look at those BR boots, no treads, that leather will probably soak through.

The Timberlands posted above aren't too bad, actually.

I live in Saskatoon, SK and wear non treaded boots all the time in the winter.

i am guessing these are in complete opposition to your aesthetic. but they won't fall apart.

Are those the leather or canvas model? I am thinking of picking up the canvas for Chicago snow but not sure if they are as waterproof as the leather or the ones with goretex/thinsulate liner in it.

    Any info?
