There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Snow Boots by Factotum. Cow leather, waterproof material, functional, anti-slip, Vibram sole. Shearling lined for warmth. Buyer's pick.

you mean you wanna buy women's boots?? unbelievable.

yes, because there are loads of winter boots for women that don't make me look like i'm going on an expedition in the fucking arctic for six months; not so with men's boots, which seem to be reaching to look as technical and ugly as possible

I wear katahdin's, and also like Redwing GT's, but I tend to agree with you.

As a side note, I find much humour in the "Oh hai guyz, I'm going to tahoe for a weekend do you think these sorel antarctic expedition boots will be okay?" threads.

$300 Marc Jacobs Boots as "beaters" for the winter. I see. I can't hate on that man.

Realistically, though, I think I'd wear any boot in snow. I mean they're boots, getting beat up is what they're meant for in my estimation. If I get Augusta / CCP / Guidi I'm wearing the fuck out of them in the snow. Especially if they're cordovan.

    This.

Yeah but I'd also like my feet to not get frozen or soaked or fall on my ass so "any boot" is out.

Good chance I will go for the Cavalli I posted a few pages back, fur lining and treads, seems good.

eeeeeyup. half the people in tahoe are just trouncing around in shitty beat-up new balance sneakers. just like anywhere else.

a tahoe local once told me the surefire way to spot any non-local: (1) they're not driving a toyota or subaru; (2) there is any element in their clothing that emphasizes form over functionality.

Not Jealous at all. Just because i find it curious has no real relevance anywhere else. props bro.

OP: The Cavali's seem to match your style and needs pretty well.
