Just to prove that non-ugly winter boots aren't conceptually impossible, I thought I'd post a pic of my Helmut-era HL snow boots.

oh snap-- was it salt that did them in? the calf leather is so soft-- last winter i definitely found myself being more attentive about wiping off the grime than i would with regular snow boots...

yeah, i suspect that the color of the rubber is a reference to old-school (e.g. bean) snow boots. but i agree that they'd look better if they were, say, all black...

ive seen all blk in the h.lang boot on sufu, link:http://www.superfuture.com/supertalk...mut+lang+boots was considering but went for nb instead, then oki ni was sold out for a while. they just restocked tho. neil barrett x palladium boots are more accessible if anyones looking for that style boot. ghostface, whats the painting in your avatar btw?

yup, salt + absurd cold weather blizzard ****. Leather got brittle and the sole detached and got fucked up. if you're in an area where it isn't so bad they should be ok, but yeah, keep them clean.
