Those are sick, not tall enough for winter boots imo though

    Thanks,

I have serious snow boots for bad weather shoveling and slush etc.

These are more for cold weather styling. They feel great and SWMBO loves em too.

You are seriously killing me! I have been looking for those in my size for years now and can't find them anywhere! I am guessing you bought them from the guy on Ebay? He initally claimed to have them in my size, got me excited about getting them, then told me that was an error in his listing! I am happy that someone will get to enjoy them in their size and am even more determined, now, to get a pair myself. Very nice.

I'm really a big fan of all things Red Wing. They do carry premium work boots, and although worn more for form over function in warmer climates like California, they do last forever. See here for their soft-toe boots, I can walk a mile in the 8-inch work boot and not have my feet bleeding. [IMG] http://www.redwingshoes.com/ProductR...ype=Soft%20Toe

mods lock this thread i can't deal with anymore americana shit

it's not fucking hard to find "rugged" looking winter boots, the entire point of this thread was to avoid stuff like that

I think the upper on the Santoni is nicer but I definitely prefer the dainite sole, at least for looks.

Have not jumped on it yet, just want to see if there are anymore options--H by Hudson is said to fall apart but from the pics the said boots "looks" sturdy...

Would have/should have bought these during BF:

Even though they are suede... and I would have just got some new soles put on them at the local store
