I have a pair of Rockport black wingtips that I love to death. They're one of the mainstays of ny wardrobe, and I've worn them a wide variety of ways -- with dark blue jeans, black jeans, blue, grey, and black suits (2 and 3 pieces), odd slacks, even with a kilt and black leather biker jacket once (it was a Dropkick Murphies concert, where that and a golf cap are about the norm). I'm looking for a brown pair myself so my cordovan penny loafers can get a little more rest, but black wingtips have always served me well.
