Just received my first pair of the 5-pockets. Pretty much the perfect pant.
Do the chino's run slimmer than these? Or at they same cut?

Guh, saw the sale on the S/S ones mentioned in another thread and was gutted to see that they only had 36's left in stone on the 5-pockets. Slept too long on those. Size charts suggest they run a little up from TTS - is that accurate?

(Sorry for answering your question with a question)

I must have sniped you. I got the Stone 34's.
And yeah the are a bit bigger than TTS. I was actually expecting them to be slimmer than they are, especially at the leg opening (sizing chart says something like 7.25") but they fit well all around, not to skinny at all, although the inseam is pretty long (and I'm 6'2").
I only order this one pair because I wanted to see what the fit was like, but I'm probably gonna grab the oxblood and olive now too, and if the chino's are a little slimmer than I might give them a try and see if they can overthrow the Unis.

Yeah I got a pair of the ink 5 pockets. Dig em. They finally made the inseam longer since ss13. That 32 inch inseam is not cutting it for me. Hopefully I can snag a pair of wool chinos on sale at some point.

The new chinos have the same top block as the previous ones but are slimmer from the knee down. Would I consider them skinny? No. Slim? Yes. I would rate the cut a solid 8.5 or 9/10.

I haven't been able to find the link to the WH Grey Herringbone, but there is an APC Herringbone hat this season, only it's double the price of WH.

I recently picked up the Levi's grey herringbone wool cap as a cheaper alternative to W+H and am pretty happy with it if anyone's interested: http://us.levi.com/product/index.js...view=all&&cp=3146842.3146845.3146862.28357776

I actually prefer the Levi's fit of over the Ebbets version. Ebbets front cap is a bit too large/high profile for my liking and doesn't suit my face where the Levi's front profile is lower/sleeker.

Def prefer the new cut to the old. Interior details are nicer as well.

That's basically W+H model..quality well cut basics. Pretty much nearly the same stuff or variations of the same stuff every year.

Overpriced is subjective as everything's been selling out at retail.

He was refering to outerwear and so was I. The desirable pieces such as the Mac Coat, Varsity, Peacoat, heck, the entire F/W 2013 outerwear section is missing the popular S / M sizes.

Finally, mid-town chino pants are out.
I've been looking forward to checking these out for a while.

What's the difference? They seem to be a looser fit.

They're a slimmer fit through the leg.

The main difference is the contrast taping, but the "contrast" isn't really the right term - the taping looks black.
And they were supposedly a slimmer fit, but the measurements online are the same as the reg chino's, and then the "info" reccomends you size up. So I dunno.
Pretty disappointed but I'll still probaby give them a try at some point.

You are right that it's subjective. Personally, I liked last season better. This years stuff looks like it came from GAP or HM
