Nobody buy wool macs please.
EDIT: any details on the exact address? is it usually at the same location? 2nd fl - 188 w.6th? and i assume it runs from nov 3-6?
Whoa. Are you going to start camping out there tonight or something? An announcement will come.
it's usually at cyc...like a block west of main on 6th or something
Well, now that you gave me the idea.....
But seriously, it's super hard to find stuff in my size (XS). That stuff is super hard to come by.
Damn I hope the wool mac (size small) lasts till sale time; I'd be down to pay almost all of retail but a tad bit off would make it in my range
Got to handle some wings horns today at mortar. The reversible hoody is really thick and soft, ultimate loungewear. Most of the shirts were nice as well, but I thought the overdye plaids looked and felt very cheap. Super thin and coarse. Since I'm in houston, neither of the heritage research collabs unfortunately. Was hoping to see them in person. Somebody post a fit!
Just a fair warning...
I ordered the fishtail parka from Roden Gray with guaranteed next business day shipping but it took them 4 days to process the order. When it finally arrived, there was an extra brokerage fee of $100 from the courier service. I think that their customer service can be somewhat of a hit-and-miss (I've had some good experiences with them as well). Now I'm thinking about sending it back and getting something else like the bomber or down jacket (now available at Nomad). Being sz. XS means that my options are basically limited to very few stores.
Any more information regarding the sample sale in Vancouver for W+H?
they'll send out an email about the sale when its official
there's not much point to them anymore anyways, though. they do a friends and family thing first where most the good stuff gets picked over and the ebay resellers take a majority of the rest that's worthwhile away in huge boxes first thing each day.
whats left gets more overpriced each year anyways. a few years back hoodies were 25. last year they were 60 and i'd go with 80 as a guess for this year. 250 for outerwear last year and probably at least 300 this year. since its s/s stuff mostly you'll end up with reasonably close to what you would have paid at 50% off sales when retailers closed stuff out.
if you're in town already or nearby its worth checking out because you can usually find something worthwhile, but if you're going out of your way there's a 90% chance you end up dissapointed (unless you like blankets made of leftover fabric)
the blankets are the best christmas gifts. i also like to stock up on their tees, but not in vancouver anymore.
Picked up the wool mac today. I love it so much.
Pics por favor.
yea pic please, haven't seen a fit pic except for the holt's one.
