wow, is the waist sizing finally fixed in the chinos?

anyone know if the joggers are MIJ or Canada made? I'm thinking everything from delivery #1 is Canada but just checking. My friend ordered a whole lot and it got broken into 4 packages from RG

really curious to see how the shoe sizing works out too. Same friend is a US 10.5, 43 in CP, and got 43 in WH. Hope they wont be too big.

edit; in looking at roden closer, some of this stuff could def be MIJ

MIC. Delivery 1 is not all from Canada, but everything not MICanada was shipped from the US (for tax reasons, I think) So, the knits, shoes, etc... However, my blazer shipped from Canada, and the joggers are made in the same Vancouver facility, I think. The size 43 will be right for your friend, most likely. The Wings+Horns sneakers are larger than CPs, but definitely not by a full size. I am a size 43 in CPs, and got size 43 in Wings+Horns. I tried on the 42s (sample sizes are size 42), and while they fit, they were snug, with essentially no extra length in the toebox. A good way to lose toenails if you wear them for any length of time.

Word on the chino sizing would be really appreciated, might be able to change my order before they process. I ordered two 28'8s, For reference ss11 chinos and madras shorts are too big on me in 29, but the slub selvedge was perfect in 29.

P.s. Nomad said their heritage shipment is comin in about three weeks

If I recall the slub selvedge items were from their Japanese Research collection. The 29 was equivalent to a 28 in the Archive collection (the twill chinos, madras shorts, etc).

    Hope that helps any confusion

after the olive westpoint chino's but waiting on some reports on the sizing too. Haven's measurements have them as being smaller than their size tag?? Denims too expensive don't see how W+H who are not a recognised denim brand can go in so aggresively priced, i presume the same guys who buy their o/priced sneakers will pick up the denim too. The wine plaid shirt looks great. Nothing else has caught my eye yet.

I was told by a reliable source that next shipment is mid-September.

About the chinos: Not sure how helpful this will be but I got a size 31 in the chinos and they fit perfectly. FWIW my "true waist" measures 33.5" and in most jeans I am a size 31. I had a size 32 in the chinos from F/W 2010 and they were huge in the waist (seemingly much bigger than 1 size up from my current pair of 31s iirc). I would measure to confirm but I had the 32's taken in at the waist.

Try calling or e-mailing Acrimony regarding measurements for the black 5-pocket slim jean. They received them a few days ago according to their blog.

RG must have been swamped with orders or they are typically really busy. I usually give them several days to respond to emails and shipping stuff.

I preordered the sneakers and bought an item a few hours after it went live.

It took a few days after that for 1 shipment to go out (I assumed it was both items). But then just last night, I got another shipping confirm...

Jonathan and Olivia in Toronto received first shipment this week. Not on the floor yet, but some solid pieces. Black high top sneakers (and I would suggest sizing down by half size, but they pretty much fit true to size). Received the black 5 pocket japanese raw denim. Haven't tried them on yet, but they look like they are cut fairly slim. Lots of fleece wear, and the west point chinos in olive and khaki. With the west point, there is a good stretch to them, and for a nice tapered fit I would suggest sizing down by one.
