Saw a lovely Valentino one of these last year but it was 11k Euros RTW so passed it by, anyone seen any nice ones about this year or online? Not too distinctive windowpane check just a nice fabric and slimmish fitting coat.

The Wizard of Ahs is a 'bay store that has some pretty good looking jackets at very low prices. I see some windowpane there, including Valentino. Perhaps someone here with more experience than I would care to comment on them. I would be interested myself. Aloha, JPoinz

Those are Chinese made garments branded Marco Valentino. No relation to the real Valentino.

Yes, but the "Wizard of Aahs" guy is actually pretty cool, and the suits are quite nice for what they are. There is a huge thread about him on here somewhere, which he links to from his eBay profile.

I actually have a muted plaid sportcoat that I bought at my local "good" suit shop that turns out to have been made by the same company that makes his stuff, and I like it very much, taking into account the price I paid for it.
