Will this work for a wedding, or should I get a nicer suit altered.

I have 2 weddings coming up in the next month, and am a bit strapped for cash. I have recently lost a bunch of weight, and only have a couple suits that I have since altered to fit correctly. The only one that currently fits well and is possibly wedding appropriate is

http://www.amazon.com/Calvin-Klein-...1_11?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1405040392&sr=1-11

Neither wedding is specified as being formal, but I certainly don't want to go without a nice fitting jacket. It's a cheaper suit, but fairly light which will be nice because one of the weddings will be a full mass in a tiny church. The last time I went to a wedding there I thought I was going to die of heat exhaustion. If this works, fantastic, if not... I guess it's off to my tailor. Hoping to avoid that because I have about 10-15 lbs more to lose, and wanted to get my other suits altered once I hit my goal weight. I picked up a really nice Brooks Brothers suit at goodwill the other day for $20 that I am itching to have altered but I was trying to hold off on that until I lost the rest of the weight.

This is my first post, so sorry if this isn't in the right area, I figured I've been reading things on this forum for long enough I should finally become a member.

Yeah, I got it from my brother because we are now the same size and he doesn't like it. The only other suit I have that fits right now is a seersucker I found at a thrift shop. It's beyond awesome, but not minnesota wedding appropriate.

I recently found a nice darker gray Brooks brothers suit, but between the jacket and pants I'm looking at paying way too much to alter it when I am still losing weight. Maybe I'll ask my brother if I can just borrow one of his. That seems to be the easiest solution.
