I haven't touched red meat in about 2 months but today I'm thinking about it. I heard so much negative reviews about red meat but I started thinking something. Mankind was probably sustained just on red meat and we turned out just fine thousands of years later. Sure today the cows have tons of hormones and god knows what else but is it really that bad? If one lifts heavy at the gym can't he indulge in a lean piece of steak? I'm just concerned at the fact that it's been so long and my body may react in a not so good way. What do you guys think , eat it or skip it?

Eat it.

Maybe you'll get a bit of a stomachache at first since you're just not used to eating it but.. I mean, really? I love steak.

If this is your first time eating a burger or steak or something in a long time, you might get some oily diarrhea shortly afterward. Just warning you. It's because your body isn't used to beef. You'll need to reacclimate to it.

Make sure you have access to a nice, clean bathroom and some reading material.

I eat red meat at least twice a week.

On another note, my gall bladder recently required removal.

Given the fact that his inner butt walls are struggling to keep back the muddy waters- would a sparsely maintained porta potty not suffice? I would liken it to being freezing and starving in a forest, would you really give a **** if the cabin was the size of a shoe box and had to eat two day Taco Bell? Just sayin'

He hasn't eaten it yet, so there is plenty of time to make proper accommodations for D-Day.

OP: red meat is fine, and it's ******* delicious. Makes getting enough protein a hell of a lot easier too. If you are worried about hormones and such, pretty much any city of size has multiple farmers markets where you can get organic/ free range/ non-enhanced beef. Costs a bit more, but generally tastes better and is a bit leaner anyway.

I've had several friends in this situation and usually with a long duration. The leaner the better. You will probably have some odd stomach problems but it should pass

If you are vegetarian thinking of eating meat once again, you are not alone from what I've read. Many vegetarians are leaving the diet in favor of eating "ethical meats". I'm guessing ethical means grass fed meats, which is what I try to purchase. "Most Vegetarians Become Ex-Vegetarians?" http://www.fathead-movie.com/index.p...x-vegetarians/
