Im wondering how this measurement is taken? It seems simple enough (measure at the knee) but,.. my measurements for w36

W18"
inseam 34"
Frontrise 13"
backrise 16"
width @ knee 12"

do these jeans sound deformed?.

Your concern now should be the width at the bottom. With a 24" knee if it tappers your looking at a pretty weird looking pair of jeans.
